The Tour de Farce (TDF) returns for 2023.
After a wonderful adventure in 2022 and wishing it would not end we decided to present an idea for the TDF 2023.
But first let’s discuss what the TDF is.
The TDF is a loosely organized Antique Motorcycle event. It is primarily a ride for the members of The Smoky Mountain Chapter of the AMCA. What I mean by loosely is your’e responsible for yourself, 100%. Hotel accommodations, transportation, camping, food, fuel, oil, tools, parts, clothing, navigation and knowledge of local laws are all up to the rider. Of course the SMC members are always ready to lend a helping hand and never leave a rider behind. Friends of the SMC are also invited to ride along.
The Natchez Trace Parkway is a National Park. It is very similar to the Blue Ridge Parkway in that sense. The roads are well maintained year round. There are NO intersections, only off/on ramps. There is NO commercial traffic and speed limits are set to 50 MPH max. There are numerous historical sites along the route from Nashville TN to Natchez MS. With this being loosely organized I encourage all who to participate to go to the Natchez Trace website and explore all of the sites that we will be passing and pick out spots of interests.

The TDF 2023 will officially begin on Saturday June, 24 2023 at The Loveless Cafe, Nashville, TN and end in Greenville, MS on July, 1 2023.
There are great memories to be made on the TDF. Experiences and sites to see along the Trace include Buffalos, Civil war ruins, Native American Mounds, best steak on a paper plate in Mississippi, and some of those Delta Hot Tamales.
