SMC'ers gathered for the pre beginning of Tour De Farce 2023, The Natchez Trace Ride, in Huntsville Ala. on June 24th. The day began with nourishment at the City Diner and a sendoff from our buddy Erik Bahl. The actual Trace ride officially began in Nashville the next day after breakfast at the Loveless Cafe and ended in Natchez Mississippi on June 27th at the 200-year-old Under The Hill Saloon. The return trip was up the Great River Road to Clarksdale Ms. to The Delta Blues Musem and the famous crossroads where blues guitarist, Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil. We then headed back to Huntsville, June 29th. In spite of the weather being hot and humid for the whole trip, there were good times, good scenery, good roads, good food, good friends and endless adventures experienced while riding our bikes.
